However in the installasion process I did unfortunatly and very unintentionally repartition the wrong drive. My Windows bootpartition is now gone. This in itself is not the end of the world. However this drive also contained my music and pictures.. in the immortal words of Homer Simpson *doh*

(The lesson here is, never install or preform radical system changes when overly tired or unfocused)

Music can be replaced and I do have some pictures backed up, but somewhat scattered over a few burned DVD’s, flickr and a USB stick. and I do suspect that the loss will be about 50% some will rejoice over this as I suspect the majority of the loss is snapshots from parties and suchlike. I am a bit bummed about this.

Some of my music was bought from the iTunes music store, but alas apple fails me here, I will not be abe to redownload my purchases from iTMS. This feature I think, if it ever comes, will boost sales on iTMS songs and a backup function in one. I would value that immensly, as it stands most of my music was ripped from CD’s but some of them has been lost, misplaced or is just plain gone.

But now I need to get some sleep, up and do a bit of work tomorrow and then spend the weekend trying to locate backup DVD’s and other storage mediums I might have put something on.

‘Less competitive’

Microsoft criticised Yahoo’s advertising trial with Google, saying any lasting deal would not be in the consumers’ interests.

“Any definitive agreement between Yahoo and Google would consolidate over 90% of the search advertising market in Google’s hands. This would make the market far less competitive,” Brad Smith, Microsoft’s General Counsel said.

The main ingredients for last Sunday’s dinner.

I suppose I could blame my lack of blogging on several things if I wanted to, but it all comes down to myself. I have a desire to write about original stuff (and to discover shoes that have never been discovered before, way back in the shoe shop on the left) and every time I think of a subject I start writing and my points seem so self evident and already discussed. Like the recent actions that China has taken, the Olympics and such like. I could blog about work but that brings other doubts, what is safe to blog about. Considering policy and the fact that my blog has my name on it and customers might actually read it.

So what is the purpose of my blog, to inform my friends of my everyday life, my thoughts …. my everyday life is kind of boring, and my thoughts well I don’t want people to think I’m crazy :-p

Most blogs is about nothing and everything, but it seems people are doing it better than I could and therefore I refrain from it because of that. I want to be good at what I do, at everything I do. I don’t want to have to start on square one, I want to know it all and at once. This is not a positive trait, but I cannot seem to escape it.

So why am I writing this, honestly I have no idea… but hey that goes for most of the stuff I do (kind of a contradiction considering what I just wrote above) Further more I have a short attention span, things seem interesting for two seconds (ok maybe a bit more than that) and then I loose interest. This even include my hobbies.

My conclusion; none, I will write here whenever I feel like it. about what ? your guess is as good as mine.
